Munson’s Rotary Knife Cutters provide coarse size reduction capabilities with typical output sizes in the range of 3/64 to 2 inches in size. This machine used five rotor knives that cut against four stationary knives in a shearing action (Scissors) until the product becomes small enough to pass through a screen. Because of the close tolerances and the shearing action dust generation is minimized.
